What is a pellet and how it is made?
Depending on the raw material structure, there are 2 types of pellet: wooden and agro pellet. Wooden pellet is a high caloric fuel, produced from the processed sawdust and shavings of dry wood: oak, beech, ash, fir, poplar, linden, etc. Processing includes several stages of grinding , drying and pressing of the material.
This process is based on the high pressure impact that causes extreme temperatures providing in this way the natural glue to preserve product physical stability. Therefore, there are no artificial neither chemical additives to maintain the product compact. This is why the pellet is being considered to be the cleanest fuel nowadays, preventing further planet pollution. The pellet has a cylindrical shape, diameter 6 – 8 mm and length 30 – 40 mm.
